What are the different chemical peels?
They are AHAs, Glycolic, Salicylic, Modified Jessner, and TCA (trichloracetic acid) and Phenol. All of which go varying depths into the skin. Some of these acids have little or no down time at all, while others can put you in hiding for a week or so.
What do chemical peels do?
They initiate the premature shedding of the outer most layer of the skin exposing the new skin from below. Chemical peels alleviate the appearance of fine lines and sun damage.
What is micro-dermabrasion?
This is a non-chemical, mechanical/physical form of exfoliating the skin. By forcing a fine particulate against the skin the dead skin cells are essentially blasted off. This treatment addresses uneven pigmentation, fine lines, and rough textured skin.
What is an oxygen treatment?
